Gosling Sports Park Company Information

Gosling Sports Park is an independant charitable Trust, a Trust Company with Charitable status since 1969. We are a non-profit making organisation, meaning that all generated income is re-invested into the Sports Park for the benefit of all users.

The Trust is headed up by a voluntary Company Board, which meets on a monthly basis, and is ultimately responsible for the long-term performance of the Sports Park. The Board provides business advice and expertise to Gosling’s full time management team and ensures that the Company acts in accordance with its constitution at all times.

The day-to-day running of Gosling Sports Park is overseen by a Senior Management Team who head up a staff roll in excess of 200:

COMPANY MEMBERSHIP - JOIN NOW!
We are delighted to announce that Company Membership of Gosling Sports Park is now available to all Gosling Sports Park Members aged 16 and above. This exciting development means that anyone wanting a real say in Gosling’s future now has a genuine opportunity to do just that! We strongly urge our Members to take advantage of this very special opportunity of becoming part of Gosling in a way never before possible.

WHAT DOES BEING A COMPANY MEMBER INVOLVE?
& Being a Company Member is very similar to being a shareholder. As a Charitable Trust we are not able to have shareholders but can offer Company Membership as an alternative.
& You can help steer the running of the Park and shape its future
& You will qualify to attend and vote at AGMs and EGMs
& You will have the opportunity to elect the Board of Directors
& You will have a personal liability which is limited to £1
& Company Membership is optional. You are able to apply & resign at any time.

HOW DO I BECOME A COMPANY MEMBER?
& If you’re an existing Gosling Sports Park Member (aged 16 or above), simply complete the reverse of this form and return to any reception point.
& If you are not an existing Gosling Sports Park Member, and you are aged 16 or above, you will need to join. Simply complete a Membership Application Form, being sure to answer ‘Yes’ when asked ‘Would you like to be a Company Member?’

CRIMINAL RECORD BUREAU CHECKS

Gosling Sports Park is a Registered Body with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). We are able to act as an umbrella body and offer this service to affiliated and non-affiliated societies. The cost of this service ranges from £5.99 - £9.99 plus the cost of the check.
